2016 PQRS Reporting Measures Series, Session 3: MAV and How to Get Started

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is pleased to announce the third session of a three-part Virtual Office Hours series regarding 2016 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) quality measures. The series includes three separate sessions that cover topics related to PQRS measures, measure-specific definitions, measures-related resources, and next steps for participating in 2016 PQRS.

The third session, titled “2016 PQRS Reporting: MAV and How to Get Started (session 3 of 3)”, will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET. Topics to be discussed in this session include the Measure Applicability Validation (MAV) process. A brief presentation will be followed by a question and answer session during which participants can ask a CMS representative clarifying questions about the MAV process. Questions regarding specialty specific scenarios may be referred for additional research. Note that MAV only applies to claims-based and registry-based reporting of individual measures.
